Many of my kites are made using Japanese paper decorated with a wax resist Batik. The spars of the kites are made from either bamboo or more recently very fine carbon fibre rod. I love pattern and texture so the tails of the kites are often made from some of the many interesting wools and yarns I have collected. I tend to be drawn to organic shapes, water, rock formations and other natural forms which influence my work. My kites are flown and exhibited around the world at kite festivals including Italy, Germany, France and of course in the UK
